Jang’s steady stream of releases and performances continued into 2023 with the release of her second album for the Doom Trip label, Me And The Glassbirds, a showcase of her seemingly easy command of involving, moody and often rhythmically driven noise collage experiments. The nearly quarter hour track “Our Brief Eternity” received most immediate attention, understandable given its slow burn feeling of ominous dread in a malfunctioning factory space, but pieces like the frenetic “Manufacture” and “Taste of Metal” add to the overall atmosphere.
