It’s ya boy, Giorgio, with one of his most famous themes, a sequencer gallop that is fused in my head with the idea of driving quickly down a city street. That’s why he called it “Chase”! The actual theme is a little chunk of swagger, like the germ of Drive itself in one three minute tune. The best bits are the three tracks where Moroder doesn’t have to do anything thematic, like “Cacaphoney,” where he lets the arpeggiator order lunch for everybody in the Pentagon.
