Nefertiti

Hailing from the ever fertile indie scene of Santiago de Chile, Protistas has proven itself to be a formidable melodic and emotionally complex unit. In Nefertiti, twinkling guitar interplay and gentle rhythms give way to anthemic choruses and emotional subject matter. “Hospital Salvador” starts the album with power pop melodies and jangly guitar interplay, while shades of indie-infused emo pop make “En Mis Genes” a highlight of the album.
