Guatemalan musician Mabe Fratti takes the template of her previous work, the masterful Pies Sobre La Tierra, and further explores and refines both her songwriting and improvisation abilities. Será que ahora podremos entendernos features songs like the softly rhythmic “Nadie Sabe,” the slow and pained “Mil Formas de Decirlo,” and the ambient pop of “Hacia el Vacío,” while also giving free rein to improvised textural soundscapes like “Inicio vínculo Final” and “Un Día Cualquiera.”
