In the vein of A Virgin’s Tale’s overview of Marc Almond’s rarities from those years, Treasure Box focused on his EMI years when he released The Stars We Are and Enchanted, though in this case many of the songs were dance remixes or demo versions of album and singles cuts. These can often contain their own interesting high points, like the Grid’s remix of “Waifs and Strays” which by default was Almond’s first collaboration with Dave Ball in some years, but the otherwise harder to find originals like “Exotica Rose” are the deeper sources of interest.
