Vida Eterna

Released

Musicians and visual artists Nico Vascellari and Nicolo Fortuni met in the 90s when they both played with punk band With Love, and they bring both their punk attitude and attention to aesthetics into their project Ninos Du Brasil. Their third album Vida Eterna has a relentless, dark energy (as you might gather from their cover art, vampirism is one of the central themes of this album) that captures the intensity of their live performances. The unintelligible whispers on opener “O Vento Chama Seu Nome” immediately create a sense of eeriness that grows with each track, as percussion and chants surge in blistering vortex of sound.
