Welcome to the Neon Lounge

Released

East Londoner David Harrow is a true Zelig – from postpunk and the Neue Deutsche Welle, through playing keyboards on Sylvester records, being a mainstay in the On-U Sound collective, writing a huge global dance hit in Billie Ray Martin’s “Your Loving Arms” and working with the late Andrew Weatherall on deep techno, to participating in the LA beat and dubstep scenes, he has been around to say the least. Just one of his excursions was spotting a gap in the market for live drum’n’bass in the late 90s, and successfully releasing and touring his James Hardway alias for a few years. His copious output still sound mighty fine: live flutes, sax and trumpets taking their own sweet time to spin their narratives around elegant but still pleasingly raw breaks and soundsystem bass.
