Do You Still Feel The Same Way

Released

A wonderful set of deep tracks from gospel and soul singer Tommie Young’s debut early 70s album. From the swaggering, bluesy title track to the sweetly swinging Supremes-esque ‘You Came Just In Time’ or the heartbreaking epic ‘She Don’t Have To See You’, Young delivers highly emotive performances, at times soaring, at times intimate. The album is pretty much split between soul slow-burners and funkier material which includes the dark 4/4 groove of ‘That’s All A Part of Loving Him’ and the wonderfully euphoric dancer ‘Hit And Run Lover’
