He’s the Godfather of Gabber, the heavy metal of techno — from Frankfurt to the world, the producer-DJ born Marc Trauner has worked under numerous aliases, many of which are represented in this set. Bang your head and laugh out loud — this hour of his greatest hits-plus is, as I wrote for Mixmag, “a big sweaty hug from an old friend, however crazy-eyed,” in a column that earned me the epithet of “edgelord” from some sad fashion victim.
