Of Faith, Power and Glory

Released

Something of a semi-sequel to Judgement in terms of overall feeling, 2009’s Of Faith, Power and Glory didn’t have as notable a ballad as albums previous to it or following it, a bit of a surprise given Ronan Harris’s skill in that area with his electronic/keyboard approach. But in terms of energy and instant charge he was firing on all cylinders, following an introductory track with a one-two explosion with “Sentinel” and the shimmering kick of “Tomorrow Never Comes.” “The Great Divide” is a lovely bit of melancholic energy while the closing “Where There Is Light” nearly demands a singalong shout.
