Recorded during the similar stretch of New Order downtime that produced Electronic and Revenge but not released for a couple more years due to the collapse of Factory Records, The Other Two And You is a sweetly engaging burst of dance/pop energy that now feels like a perfect early 90s UK time capsule, with Gillian Gilbert’s lead vocals a real delight. Lead track and single “Tasty Fish” is an audible cousin of “World in Motion” in the best way, while slightly slower tracks like “Selfish” help mix things up with the polite bangers like “Ninth Configuration.”
