Hungarian one-man experimental black metal weirdo Tamás Kátai does just about everything here (one presumes the female vocals don’t belong to him), a dizzying combination of genres that come together to form an incredibly addictive Thing That Should Not Be. You’d think throwing together almost-danceable programmed drums and samplers with progressive twists and low-mixed shrieks for 15-minute bursts of madness like “Oldódó formák a halál titokzatos birodalmában” would be disastrous. Instead, Kátai creates layers of infectious psychedelic soundscapes that sweep everything away in their cerulean swirls.
