Monterrey-born, New York-based electronic musician and producer Debit fuses her love for dancefloor bangers and experimental sounds to deliver a PA-blowing collection of tracks. Paying tribute to tribal guarachero — a fusion genre that defined Monterrey’s popular music for a spell — System features mutant cumbia, triplet-feel synth riffs, and plenty of distorted electronics that both challenge the ear and invite dancers to lose themselves in its rhythms.
