Nova cover
Released

After breaking up his band Mondragón, Edgar returned to working solo in an electronic setting, becoming a prolific musician while retaining his taste for mood and texture. Nova is but one of his many noteworthy releases that combine dance beats with melodies and synthetic ambient soundscapes. “Menguante” keeps a steady pulse as the arrangement provides plenty of ear candy, while “Lumina” keeps a midtempo thrust to its sinister-yet-seductive chords. The title track gives a sort of ambient techno take on post punk that invites the listener to both introspection and body movement.
