Hospital Lullabies

Released

Berlin-based Argentine outfit Mueran Humanos might have taken their cues from the seminal band Suicide but as they demonstrate in Hospital Lullabies, they can move beyond their biggest influence without forgoing their roots entirely. A companion soundtrack to a film directed by MH’s own Carmen Burguess, Hospital Lullabies leans towards a techno sound, sanding the edges of their digitally violent music for something colder, more atmospheric, and more melodic, as heard on the clinical grooves of “Detrás de una flor” or “Guardián de Piedra”’s wailing synths. The result is as evocative as it is melodic.
