This long-running duo from Monterrey Mexico debuted with a perfect slice of melodic shoegaze, bringing a great understanding of songcraft, arrangement skills, and vocal hooks to the classic sounds of the genre. Opener “No Me Grites” is both rocking and sweet while “Anda” brings ‘60s jangle pop influences to the fore; elsewhere, “Dios Y Sus Negocios” mixes acoustic guitars with ear-splitting feedback, and the power pop “Punk Soccer” packs plenty of hooks.
